About Flipology Athletics
At Flipology Athletics, we believe movement is where confidence, curiosity, and momentum begin.
Located in Spring Grove, Illinois, Flipology Athletics offers gymnastics, cheer tumbling, Ninjility, competitive teams, camps, clinics, open gym, and more for athletes of all ages and abilities. From a toddler’s first roll to an athlete’s biggest skill yet, every class is designed to help kids move, explore, learn, and grow.
Our name combines flipping with -ology, the study of something—and around here, we study movement! Athletes discover how strength, balance, power, timing, and determination work together while building skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
Under new ownership and with a new name, Flipology Athletics represents an exciting new chapter for our gym and the families we serve. Our experienced coaches are committed to providing safe, high-quality instruction while creating a place where every child feels supported, challenged, and proud of their progress.

Flipology Athletics is owned by Stephany Aviles and Lynell Chapman, experienced coaches, youth-program leaders, business owners, and parents who share a passion for helping children grow through movement.
